Rev. Jez James has had a passion for ceremony and ritual since she was young. She believes that every couple’s relationship is special and prides herself on designing ceremonies that reflect the unique connection that two people create when they come together in love and partnership.
Rev. Jez holds a B.A. in Psychology from UMBC and went on to graduate from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in 2012. She is an ordained Interfaith Minister and enjoys being able to pull from a variety of spiritual beliefs and traditions to create ceremonies that speak to people of all ages and backgrounds. Her infectious laugh and zest for life puts people at ease and allows a space for authentic joy and celebration to manifest.
Rev. Jez lives in Baltimore with her partner Govinda. She loves to cook and takes breaks often to dance in her kitchen. She enjoys singing and all things related to music. Rev Jez is also a leader at Shalom Mountain, a non-denominational retreat center in the Catskills of New York. She thrives on helping others to find their authentic voices and live fully alive surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature.
